Bardo is the body blend, your invitation to tune in and intuitively use your own healing hands as a starting point into compassionate inquiry. Touch releases held tension and brings movement, flow and vibrancy to the skin, while breath-work shifts us into our natural, harmonious state of being.
Bardo Awaken is a warm and energising blend to uplift our entire being through states of mental, emotional or physical exhaustion or fatigue. The warm, spicy aroma of Pink Peppercorn, Neroli blossom, Rose, Vetiver, Patchouli, Black Pepper and Vanilla bourbon support the awakening of all energetic centres of the body, bringing forth a deep sense of awareness and clarity.
THE BARDO CEREMONY
Pour Bardo into the palm of your hand. Pressing both palms together, bring to the face and hold cupped hands over the nose. Pause here for a few moments, becoming aware of the natural flow of breath.
From this place of awareness, inhale slowly and deeply through the nose. At the top of the inhale, allow the outgoing breath to flow out again through the nose, softly and effortlessly. Repeat this style of breath at least three times before applying.
Apply Bardo to any area of the body that calls. Massage using intuitive touch, while remaining attentive by bringing your focus from the breath to the physical sensation of your own healing hands. Slow movements using the full expanse of your hand is deeply restorative, while faster, lighter movements using fingertips are more awakening.
As you massage with Bardo, breathe slowly, breathe deeply.
Although suitable to any area of the body, Bardo Awaken has a natural affinity with the heart space, shoulders and neck, or can be worn on the inner wrists as an alternative to perfume.
To deepen your Bardo ritual, begin by misting the body and setting intention with Rosa and spending further time on breath work with Hā.
